Professional Clinical Supervision for Therapists

As a natural teacher, working with other professionals in the field is one of my greatest passions.

Therapists, social workers, and mental health counselors come to me for counseling, career guidance, and clinical supervision. In a session together, we may discuss a particular case that's presenting challenges for you in your practice, or cover ways you can advance in your work as a therapist. I draw on my rigorous academic training and extensive clinical experience to help you develop and expand your skills, including incorporating the use of specific Gestalt techniques. Consulting is customized to your specific skills, interests, and the needs of your practice.

how it works

I offer therapy, clinical supervision, and consulting to therapists and medical health professionals in New York, North Carolina, Texas, and Washington State. Sessions take place via a secure telehealth platform. Face-to-face, in-office sessions are available in Central North Carolina. Clinical supervision and consultation are arranged and scheduled by mutual agreement, or as required by a supervisee’s governing state licensing board for those working toward completing supervision hours required for application of state licensure.

Therapy for Your Business

Serving your clients and supporting yourself financially do not have to be at odds. I can help you remove your money blocks and get paid what you need and deserve for your valuable work.

As a fellow therapist, I know how important it is for you to change lives through your work. But I also know you may be facing financial stress that makes it harder to do the work that you love and that creates so much good in the world. Colleagues may tell you that being underpaid is just part of our profession — or even shame you for wanting fair compensation.

It doesn’t have to be this way. I’m committed to helping therapists shatter their destructive beliefs about money and finally stand in their worth.

Signs That Your Practice Needs Therapy

  • You feel overworked, overwhelmed, and underpaid. You may even be on the edge of burnout.
  • You believe that taking on more clients is the only way to make more money (even when you’re already stretched thin).
  • You worry that clients will leave your practice if you raise your rates.
  • You believe that charging more means you’ll have to reject people in need.
  • You try to avoid thinking about money. But when you do, you experience anxiety about debt and/or your financial future.

What Happens in Financial Therapy?

Through a deep therapeutic process, we’ll transform the way you approach your practice and your financial life so that you can discover a more abundant way of being and working. That includes:

  • Learning to think of your therapy practice as a business and yourself as an entrepreneur.
  • Discovering how your family of origin shaped your money mindset in ways that may be out of your awareness.
  • Examining and dispelling the toxic beliefs instilled in you by a system that mistreats and exploits therapists for corporate gain.
  • Separating the emotional aspect of your relationship with money from your financial choices and your sense of worth and wholeness.
  • Replacing your fear, avoidance, and stress about money with an open, honest, and curious perspective.

Healthy Practice, Healthy Finances

In my work with therapists, I’ve seen the amazing power of moving from a place of scarcity to one of confidence and abundance. What could this look like for you? Imagine this future:

  • You’re free from the hamster wheel of exploitive insurance contracts that under-compensate and threaten you.
  • Your fees reflect the enormous value you provide for clients.
  • You’re helping others and bringing home an income that supports a thriving life.
  • You feel liberated financially and emotionally.
  • Free from money worries, you become more effective than ever as a therapist.

You are not just here to serve others. You deserve to have your needs met, too.

Let’s talk about how to create the therapy practice and the life you’ve always dreamed of.
